Q2. Should MBL 8 be used in new cars? If so, at what stage and with what expectations?
A. It should go in new cars, but not until a normal run in period has been observed. The reason being that most new engines still have honing marks on the cylinder wall along with other little imperfections that need to be worn off to bed in the engine properly. Immediate application of MBL 8 could possible prevent this internal ‘self adjusting’ process. We suggest a normal run in period of 5,000km’s before adding MBL8 or 100 hours of operation.

A. No. Our products are neither acidic nor alkaline and are guaranteed harmless to automotive components when used as directed.
Q4. Do Pro-Ma Performance Products carry Liability Insurance?
A. Yes. All of our products are guaranteed against damage to any type of equipment in which the products are intended to be used and if used according to the directions on the product containers.
Q5. Can One Shot, GT-5 and DT-5 be used in air cooled engines?
A. Yes. One Shot and GT-5 work in all petrol engines and DT-5 works in all diesel engines - stationary, vehicular or marine.
Q6. Can One Shot and GT-5 increase spark plug life?
A. Yes. By eliminating carbon deposits which can cause spark plug fowling.
Q7. Can One Shot and GT-5 stop the pinging in my car?
A. Continuous use of these products should eliminate pinging by removing combustion deposits.
Q8. Can One Shot, GT-5 or DT-5 free sticky valves or stuck rings?
A. Yes. By removing carbon build up, stuck rings or sticky valves will begin to operate freely again unless permanently damaged.
Q9. Why should I use GT-5 or DT-5 every time I refuel?
A. By doing so, you can obtain optimum benefits. If these products are only used when trouble develops, excessive wear could have already taken place in your engine. Pro-Ma Performance Products will not correct worn parts.
Q10. What is the shelf life of MBL8?
A. Unlimited! The longer, however, it sits on the shelf, the more agitation or shaking needed to bring ingredients back into proper suspension.
Q11. Does MBL 8 work well in synthetic and mineral oils?
A. It works perfectly in synthetic and mineral oils.
Q12. Can MBL 8 be used in two-stroke petrol engines?
A. No, but it can be used in diesel two-stroke engines such as G.M. Diesels.
Q13. Can MBL8 be used in automatic transmissions, wet brakes or wet clutches?
A. We do not recommend using MBL8 in any type of mechanism that requires a certain amount of friction to work properly. MBL8 could reduce the friction required below its required amount.
Q14. Can One Shot, GT-5 or DT-5 increase valve life?
A. Yes. By adding needed lubrication to the upper cylinder area, they can reduce friction and control the build up of damaging carbon deposits (a significant feature for vehicles running on unleaded fuel).
Q15. When should you use One Shot, GT-5 or DT-5 in a new engine?
A. We believe that these products should be used beginning with the purchase of a new vehicle in order to receive the longest life possible from the engine.
